Tony Kim worked for United Talent Agency for two years in the TV/Talent division after graduating from UCLA.  He eventually left to pursue his own interests in the fashion industry. Mr. Kim would go on to co-find several clothing brands such as Drunknmunky and Hudson Jeans. He served as the Vice-President of SaymeeK Inc., a brand developing and incubating company. After selling Drunknmunky to FUBU, he decided to venture on his own, initially working as an independent brand consultant and then eventually started his own private equity company, Telos L.L.C.  He is now a managing director in Midwinter Consulting Group which assists international companies penetrate and fundraise in U.S. markets.

John Mix

John Mix has an extensive software development background that includes experience with companies from start-ups to large Internet design agencies.  His work experience with these companies has consisted of the functional design, development and implementation of dynamic web-based applications.  These applications range from remote access intranet systems for Corporate Express and HD Vest Financial Services to a multilingual Internet website for DisneylandParis.com.  Some of the companies with a solution provided by Mr. Mix include Microsoft, Oppenheimer Funds, Marisco Funds, StorageTEK, Level 3, Qwest Communications, Verio, Sharp USA and HP.  Mr. Mix is also a frequent presenter of new Internet technologies at national level conventions and conferences, including Microsoft’s Developer Days.

In the gaming arena Mr. Mix’s company, Ironspark, produced the first Nevada gaming board approved in-game sports wagering application for legal use in American casinos.

John Chi

John H. Chi was most recently the CEO and President of Nexon America, the North American publishing arm of Asia's leading online game developer and publisher, Nexon Group.  Upon his hire as the first employee in North America, he was tasked with building out the business in North America.  He created a company that became the acknowledged leader in the free-to-play, virtual asset sales business model in North America.  Profitable in every year of operation, he left Nexon America having grown revenues to nearly $30 MM.

In addition to the video game industry, Mr. Chi also has extensive experience in other industries and various disciplines.  As the head of Marketing and Business Development at tvK24, an ethnic-focused cable start-up, he was responsible for promoting the fledgling station to the Asian community throughout the United States.  In the world of finance, Mr. Chi was an investment banker at Lehman Brothers at their corporate headquarters in New York City as well as at their Los Angeles, CA and Seoul, Korea offices covering such verticals as Technology, Financial Institutions and General Industries.  Mr. Chi also has experience in the legal field having worked at the law firm of Ropes and Gray in Boston, MA and Shin and Kim, in Seoul, Korea.  Finally, Mr. Chi was a Partner in the Barcode Entertainment Group, operators of the Midwest's premiere Asian-themed nightclub.

Mr. Chi received his B.A. at Amherst College and also studied at Harvard University and Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea.  He received his JDMBA at the J.L. John English has served as Senior Vice President with Las Vegas Gaming, Inc since August 2004 and has been in charge of strategic business development.  From November 2005 to June 2006, Mr. English was the Chief Strategic Officer.  In 1990, Mr. English co-founded Pinpoint Direct Incorporated, which became one of the largest direct mail sweepstakes and gaming providers in the world.  In 1998, Pinpoint Direct was split into two separate entities, Multimedia Enterprises, which produced innovative gaming content and Mailworks International, which provided printing and production services.  These companies employed over 120 persons and maintained distribution offices in Nevada, Arizona, California, New York, Canada and Holland.  After several partnering ventures with United Coin Machine Company, Caesars Entertainment, Mandalay Bay Group, and Z Touch Technology, Mr. English stepped down as President and Chief Executive Officer of Multimedia Enterprises and joined Las Vegas Gaming, Inc. in 2004.

Michael Johnson’s career started as a broadcaster in Baltimore, MD in 1994, as an on-air personality for CBS Radio at WXYV-FM where he was positioned as the radio stations Music Director and evening on-air personality.  Mr. Johnson was responsible for positioning the radio station’s programming and executing promotional sweeps that would increase the radio stations’ market share rating at the same time maintaining cume and frequency.  Mr. Johnson’s effort took the radio station from an 8 share in the market to 12+ with a rank of #4 to a 16.8 market share and a rank of the #1 radio station in the Baltimore marketplace in a matter of 18 months. Mr. Johnson left CBS radio in 1996 and was hired by Radio One-Atlanta where he was the Production Director responsible for the entire imaging of the company’s radio properties between 1996 and 1999.  Mr. Johnson achieved great success with these Atlanta radio properties making the #11 ranked radios station the 5th ranked station in the marketplace.

How do I make payments?

How will the wagering system work?
Once members of the GIG Exchange meet and decide to wager on a game, they will input the amount of the wager into the GIG system and then proceed to the game. At this point, the amount of the wager will be taken from each user’s account and put into a temporary escrow account. Games with GIG’s technology incorporated directly within a game, the game will provide the GIG Exchange the results of the match and the escrowed funds minus a modest GIG service fee, which will then automatically be transferred to the winner’s account.
Is the wagering system enforced?
The wagering system will be enforced by online GIG referees who will intercede in the event of a conflict. Further, player profiles will show prior history, so gamers can see which gamers are playing fairly and which ones are not.
Can I go into debt if I continuously lose?
Players can only lose the funds that they deposit into their account.
I live outside of the US, can I easily convert my winnings to my currency?
All funds will be paid out directly in U.S. dollars. Funds paid via your credit card will be converted back to your currency by your credit card company.

What is the GIG Community?

Is it policed/monitored?
